Fabulous Lightning McQueen becomes unlocked as part of a free Cars 3 game update by the developers, which you download automatically by starting the game from the release day of the Cars 3 movie in your country. So this update will be live worldwide between June 15 and September 28, 2017. Even if Project CARS 3 isn’t quite the racing sim follow-up that fans were expecting, there’s still quite a bit of content to play through. Along with a fully-fledged Career Mode and multiplayer, players will be collecting over 200 cars and racing across 120 tracks worldwide.

Disable Opponents
Go to your Grid Folder and then the AI folder. Remove the file 'ai_vehicle_config '. If you start a race, the opponents stay and you can enjoy the race. Make a backup of this file before removing so you can restore the game's original functionality.
